I’m not about restrictive diets or quick fixes. Instead, I focus on simple habits that make me feel good, give me energy, and fit into my busy mom-life. Here are 3 ways I stay healthy without dieting:
1. Easy Nutrition with My Core 3
My go-to daily trio is Arbonne’s Protein Shake, Energy Fizz, and 3-in-1 Greens.
- Protein Shake: A clean, plant-based protein that keeps me full, satisfied, and helps me hit my protein goals without relying on processed snacks.
- Energy Fizz: A bubbly, caffeine-boosted drink made with B vitamins and green tea that helps me ditch the sugary sodas and still get that afternoon pick-me-up.
- 3-in-1 Greens: A simple way to get a variety of fruits and veggies in one scoop—perfect for busy days when I don’t have time to make a big salad.
2. Cutting Out Inflammatory Ingredients (When I Can)
I don’t aim for perfection, but I do try to cut out foods that leave me feeling bloated, sluggish, or drained. Here are a few easy swaps I love:
- Soy sauce ➝ Coconut aminos
- Vegetable oil ➝ Avocado oil
- Regular pasta ➝ Chickpea or brown rice pasta
- Regular flour ➝ Almond flour
- Artificial sweeteners ➝ Natural sweeteners (like stevia, monk fruit, or maple syrup)
These little changes add up and keep my body feeling light and energized.
3. Moving My Body at Least 3 Days a Week
Movement doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. Here are some of my favorite ways to fit it in:
- Go for a walk with your kiddos or push the stroller around the neighborhood.
- Put on a fun kids’ dance workout video and let them join in (bonus: they’ll burn energy too 😅).
- Join a gym that offers childcare so you can have a little “me time” while still getting your workout in.
Healthy living doesn’t have to mean dieting. It’s about creating habits that support your body, your energy, and your lifestyle.
