Yup. You read that right… I actually hating writing. So, I thought why not start a blog? In order to grow, you have to get uncomfortable, right? Give me grace as I begin down this path of the unknown.

So, I’m Courtney B. I live in the quickly growing city of Huntsville, Alabama, with my very sarcastic husband and stupidly beautiful 2 children. My family is small but mighty with 2 sisters, mom, and grandmother all local. We are as tight as Spanx. && we come with a lot of family drama. I may go further into that one day, if I’m bored.

I never thought I’d be someone to start a blog because I’m actually very quiet. The voices of others always fill the room before mine does. BUT that’s exactly why starting a blog is actually perfect. I don’t have to speak louder to be heard or feel like I have to have the attention on me. I can just…. write.

I know I’m still young, but I already feel like I’ve lived a lot of life. My husband and I have moved 7 times in the matter of 10 years. Making each place feel like home even if it was for a short time. I’ve worked so many different jobs from retail to marketing to sales to content creation. We have 2 kiddos under the age of 5. Each pregnancy polar opposite from the other.

Becoming a mom is probably the number one reason I’m starting this. After my first, I suffered from PPD and PPA. It was the most alone I’ve ever felt. I don’t wish that feeling on my worst enemy. Thank God for His protection. Through His plan I was givin the gift of learning more about gut health and a community of moms that knew just what I needed. && because of this I want to help as many other moms as possible.
